Spring is in the air

Tampa Bay Spring fishing is HOT! And it’s only going to get better. Redfish, snook and trout. You name it, and it is willing to eat. Look for things to heat up as our water temperatures increase.

Snook season has started off with a bang. Although most of our snook fishing is catch and release, we are catching some nice keeper size and a few oversize fish. Live whitebait is the key, to having a great Tampa Bay snook day.

School is in session. Tampa Bay redfish schools have started to show up and eating everything in their path. Fish are ranging from 4lbs up to 15lbs. Catch a couple of these bruisers on light tackle and they will be sure to wear you out.

The big “gator” trout have invaded the Tampa Bay flats. Working potholes has been the most productive technique. Work as many potholes as possible to increase your odds of hooking a trophy size “Gator” trout. Live or cut bait has been productive.
