Tampa Bay Fishing Report 3/15

Trout fishing in Tampa Bay was awesome
Cox family after a great day fishing

Tampa Bay fishing is starting to heat up. Literally and figuratively. The new time change will bring longer days and warmer temps. The water temperature in Tampa Bay got up to 65deg. today. The Trout bite was a little on the slow side but we did get a few keepers using a shrimp under a popping cork, with one measuring over 27”. A Trout that size while fishing Tampa Bay is a nice catch. We did release that fish to fight another day. We also managed to get a couple of Redfish to eat. The problem is not finding the Redfish, it’s getting them to eat. Had a nice family from Canada. Lots of thanks to them. To book a Tampa fishing charter with fishing guide Capt. Will Shook, call 813-732-5971
