March Fishing Report!
With the cold fronts nearing an e
nd, Spring is around the corner. March is generally a windy month so have to pick and choose your days. March is one of my favorites months to fish Tampa Bay. You name the species and its chewing. These fish have been stuck in their winter patterns and are hungry. Snook, Trout, Redfish, you name it and their willing to participate. I had a group from Chicago fishing with me. They are accustomed to fishing freshwater for Bream and Bass. We hooked into some Black Drum in the 35-45lb class on light tackle. One fish each and they were finished for the day.
