January Tampa Fishing Report

With cold front after cold front, fishing can be touTampa Bay Blackdrum Fishinggh. You have to be willing to go with plan B or even C. When temperatures drop below 60 Snook become sluggish and the bite will turn off. The cooler temperatures don’t bother the Redfish as much but will slow the bite down. Mark was fishing with me and hooked into this nice Blackdurm fishing a rock pile in the bay. We used a large shrimp on a 1/2 ounce jig head.
