tampa fishing charters

fishing charter information

For starters, thanks for considering me for your fishing charter guide. I love what I do, and so it’s hard to say it’s work… But, I’ll work hard to make sure you have a great trip, and get on some of the incredible fishing action we have here in Tampa Bay.

I routinely have anglers of all skill levels out on a charter. If your experienced, great… If you’re new to fishing, or even new to saltwater fishing, I’m here to share my tactics and experience with you. Catching fish while having a great day on the water is our goal!

Fishing here in Tampa revolves somewhat around water movement (the tides), and general weather conditions. Fish naturally feed early, or late in the day, and typically when the water is moving. So, weather conditions, and tides, will determine our departure from the dock on your charter, but typically we head out shortly after the sun comes up. This is when the fish are looking to start their day with a nice meal… albeit, this time on one of our hooks 🙂 Additional consideration is given to what duration of fishing charter you have booked (half; 3/4; full; or extended day), so we’re able to be in place when it’s most productive. At times, even an afternoon trip can be planned, again, dependent on the season, and conditions.

Although we have year-round fishing, fish activity varies somewhat with the different seasons. I fish almost every single day, which keeps me on top of the frequently changing fishing hot-spots, and feeding patterns.

I always spend quite a bit of time preparing for each and every fishing charter I guide. You’ll have confidence that you’ll be fishing with first-class equipment that is perfectly rigged. We’re going to be targeting fish that will look for any opportunity to gain the upper hand, so I do my very best to give you every advantage.

Looking forward to meeting, and fishing with you!

🙂

about my pathfinder boat

I decided right from the start that I was going to provide my fishing charter clients with the finest fishing platform I could put my hands on. Of importance was the ability to safely, comfortably, and quickly transport my fishing charter clients to the areas where the bite was happening. My custom built Pathfinder does that perfectly, so we’re able to focus on fishing.
