fishing charters has been HOT, and so has the weather. With temperatures running well above average, the redfish bite has been on fire. We are fishing for redfish in Tampa Bay with light tackle spinning gear, cut/dead bait and they offering a very challenging fight. Most fish caught are ranging from 10lbs up to 15lbs. As temperatures continue to climb, look for the Tampa Bay redfish bite to stay hot.
As we get into the full swing of Spring, look for the Tampa Bay snook bite to heat up. Some fish are starting to move out of the rivers and onto the adjacent flats. They will be hungry and ready to eat anything you put in their face.
Trout fishing has been a little slow in Tampa Bay but things should start to get more consistent. As water temperatures start to warm and bait moves on the flats, trout should follow.
